my international oil and gas client based in surrey requires an experienced subsea oil tools systems engineer.

systems engineers are allocated to major subsea systems projects to ensure that all requirements of the customer specification are met. the candidate will work with the technical manager for the particular project who will give them daily direction. system engineers will act on behalf of the project manager whenever the need arises.

requirements:

•    university engineering degree or similar and/or 10 years minimum oil field experience.

•    good interpersonal and presentation skills.

candidate will be responsible for ensuring the components that comprise the subsea function together to meet the system requirements. typical components include:

•    subsea trees

•    tubing hangers and related running tools

•    manifolds

•    valving

•     jumpers and connectors

•     foundation structures

location:          surrey

contract:         12 months
