Our client, a multidisicipline consulting engineering service firm specializing in the Oil & Gas industry, requires an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their team based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Manager you will:

Coordinate project requirements with project team members review P & ID's of electrical drawings & specifications.Generate electrical construction contract documents.Generate electrical RFQ's, evaluation quotations, and create purchase order requisitions for major electrical equipment.Review and mark-up package/skid drawings.Generate electrical installation details.Provide wiring details and support to electrical contractors.Provide field construction support, commissioning and start-up of facilities.Use electrical power system software to generate reports for:

• Short circuits studies
• Arc flash studies
• Relay coordination studies

As the successful candidate you:

• Have an engineering degree and are registered with apegga
• Have 4 - 10 years working experience in the oil and gas industry
• Have strong communication skills both verbal and written and want to work in a team environment
