My Canadian based Client; a rapidly growing multi-disciplinary consulting firm has a requirement for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Quality Control). 

Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Project Manager you will:

Ensure designs are safe, effective, operable and code compliant

Review project drawings for quality and completeness

Ensure consistency within and among designs

Approve project drawings for final issue

Act as a technical resource person for other staff

Mentor less experienced engineers

Advise others during project design development

Propose innovative solutions to technical problems

Assist with interpretation of codes and regulations

Develop and updating corporate technical standards

Conduct training sessions 

Requirements 

As the successful candidate you:

Have 10 or more years of directly related work with current APEGGA Registration Strong communication with extensive knowledge of industry practices

Very familiar with project documents such as DBM’s, PFD’s, P& ID’s, Line Lists, Shutdown Keys and other supporting documents

Have a broad knowledge of all aspects of facility design, including piping, electrical and control systems will ensure your effective contribution to each project
