My client has an immediate vacancy for a Structural Engineer to work from their office in Aberdeen.

Working with engineers & draughtsmen within the installation, structural & equipment disciplines, specific tasks may include:

• all aspects of structural design work associated with a subsea  installation contractor
• structural design of flexible ancillary equipment
• undertake installation engineering for subsea structures
• production of design reports for submission to clients & warranty surveyors as part of the design process
• developing team through coaching and generating ideas with the team manager and colleagues ensuring the quality of work issued is high and conforms to company division and group procedures

Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree with a good knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.  Also, previous experience of working in the offshore oil & gas industry, preferably within the subsea sector is essential.
