My client has an immediate vacancy for an Assistant Project Manager to work in their office in Aberdeen.

The position of the the Assistant Project Manager recognises performance and responsibilities above that of a Senior Project Engineer.  It also recognises development potential and facilitates succession planning towards the role of Project Manager.

The role of the Assistant Project Manager in their absense is to:

• Deputise for the Project Manager in their absense or as delegated
• Principally to assist the Project Manager with: Safe and efficient delivery of Projects to both Client and Company satisfaction, Ensure compliance with Company Operating and Financial Procedures within Projects, Meet or exceed Project Profit targets, Efficiently manage and secure Tenders with the support of Business Development
• Interface between the Project Manager and Project Team

Key activities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure compliance with company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies, procedures and reporting requirements
• Assist with project delivery in accordance with agreed completion dates and client specific deliverables
• Ensure compliance within the project team with all business system procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting of company assets

Ideally, candidates should have a minimum of an HNC in Engineering with previous experience in Subsea Project Engineering.
