My client is an international subsea contractor operating within the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industries.  Due to continuing expansion, they have an immediate requirement for a QA/QC Engineer.

The overall objective of the job is to provide QA/QC assistance and relevant and legislative advice to the Project Manager and appropriate project staff.

The main duties of the QA/QC Engineer is to report to the IMS Manager on IMS compliance and the individual Project Managers on operational activities.

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

• Ensuring that the company Quality Management System is implemented within the projects and maintained in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001-2000
• Provide training and guidance on the IMS to all project personnel
• Providing QHSE support to the project teams
• Preparing and monitoring through monthly progress reports, IMS compliance to ensure effectiveness and continued improvement
• Monitoring through reports from work sites and/or project manager, that the company's policies and procedures are being satisfactorily observed, conduct audits (including offshore sites by agreement with clients) and ensure personnel have had adequate on or off the job training to carry out their work in accordance with company standards

Candidates should be able to write procedures, QA plans and verify plans.
