My international civil engineering client has an urgent requirement for a Senior Estimator to work on an exciting new project in Abu Dhabi.

Reporting to the Estimation Manager, the objective of the Senior Estimator is to secure potentially profitable work stream for the business by ensuring that bids are prepared in a timely manner, are attractive to the customers and meet the company's requirements.  Operating in an as efficient manner as possible by promoting consistent practises, utilising information technology and using feedback from actual projects. 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Preparing prime cost estimates using ccs
• Implement company practices in tendering
• Prepare and submit a recommendation report on sub-contract and material adjudication
• Conclude fully considered tenders at settlement stage
• Successful post tender feed out and distribution of information
• Assist with estimating function of a large part of the business
• Individuals must be logical and well organised with the ability to prioritise and be technically competant in the estimating process.

Candidates should ideally be degree qualified and have proven experience in an estimating role.
