Title:Equipment Project Manager
Details:

The Equipment Projects Manager’s main responsibility shall be to manage the production of all designated new equipment from design through to setting to work and manage existing equipment upgrades and modifications.  This shall be done in compliance with project management procedures, ensuring that all equipment projects are undertaken in conjunction with;  

  • An HSE plan
  • A firm budget
  • A firm schedule

 The Equipment Project Manager will ensure that all such projects are  

  • Safely undertaken
  • Adequately resourced.
  • Properly documented
  • Reported in-line with company procedures
  • Fiscally compliant with Company procedure.
  • Engineered in line with Company procedure.
  • Procurement executed inline with Company procedure.
  • Handed over to Operations  smoothly

The Equipment Project Manager will work in conjunction with the Equipment Operations Manager and they will assist each other in day to day tasks.   

The Equipment Project Manager will interface with internal customers, subcontractor/s, suppliers and legislative representatives and will call on resources from different parts of the Company.  

The Equipment Project Manager is expected to be a good communicator ensuring that all members of their team and other departments are always advised on status, forecasts and challenges for project and relevant Company information.
