My international Oil and Gas client requires an experienced HSSE Manager for this position based in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge / experience:

• Knowledge of relevant standard international specifications and codes .i.e. OSHA, and ISO procedures and standards.
• Good understanding of global security issues and security risk management.
• HSE professional (recognized diploma such as NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent) with substantial experience in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment preferably in oil and gas related environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that the Project HSSE Policies, HSSE Management Standards, Environmental Guidelines, strategic HSSE Objectives, relevant International and Local HSSE codes and regulations requirements are met.
• Supporting the Project Director in fulfilling his HSSE related responsibilities.
• Providing specialist advice to the Project Management Team (PMT) and driving the HSSE management process.
• Supporting the Risk, Safety and Environmental Project Lead Engineer to ensure that all HSSE engineering deliverables are prepared.
• Ensuring the compliance with the Project HSSE Policies and objectives.

This position requires someone that can be available within 2 weeks.
