My international Oil and Gas Operator client based in Paris, France requires the services of an experienced Structural and marine Engineer for this world-scale project.

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Post-graduate, chartered Engineer or similar education level in Mechanical, Structure, Naval or Ocean Engineering.
• Oil & Gas engineering with marine components expertise and offshore installation experience.
• Deepwater experience is preferable.

For this position you will be responsible for the following:

• Follow up all the design aspects of the FPSO & OLT (Offloading Terminal) mooring systems (which includes hydrodynamics, mechanical component design, piles and mooring legs design) and of the Risers.
• Integration of the Moorings and Risers systems.
• Supervise the main EPCI Contractor plans and activities.
• Technical specifications of the Moorings and Risers system components.
• Moorings and Risers installation procedures.
• Fabrication activities linked to the Moorings and Risers systems.
• Prepare and supervise all mock-up tests.
• Liaise with the FPSO & OLT Moorings and Risers Co-ordinators.
• Review for eventual approval, all the final documentation.
• Control on yards activities.
