| Details: | My Client are looking for a GNSS (precise positioning service) Training Manager to work in their Global Positioning Department. Office based in Aberdeen, the main duties and responsibilities include: Designing, developing, delivering and managing every aspect of worldwide training for all VERIPOS users. All of the aforementioned including but not limited to the following: -Designing all processes and methods to ensure delivery of the best worldwide training in the market place-Developing and procuring from the most appropriate sources, the technologies for delivering item -Developing and measuring all pertinent statistical and other metrics for ascertaining effectiveness of training functions-Provision of all training to internal and external clients as well as other VERIPOS personnel-Coordinating a global team of specialists to provide training on VERIPOS products and services-Liaising with VERIPOS clients to determine training requirements and implementation of appropriate training programs-Responsible for the production and upkeep of all training and supporting material-Assisting the Product Development group in production and upkeep of product technical and operational manuals-Fulfilling any other reasonable activity as requested by the Technical Support Manager Experience Demonstrable experience & involvement in provision of training or managing training courses, preferably for a high-technology business and in support of technology-based products or services / or considerable experience of GNSS and / or offshore survey and / or positioning industries. Technical: Preferably have knowledge of offshore operations such as surveying, seismic exploration and Dynamic Positioning Qualifications Educated to degree level or above, preferably in GNSS technology, Geomatics or other cognate subject or alternatively a related vocational field |
