My client, an international Oil & Gas contractor, has an immediate requirement for a number of Principal/Senior Analysis Engineers to work from their facility in Aberdeen.
Duties will include bit not be limited to:
- Undertake planning, detailing and reviewing of technical documentation relating to subsea pipelines' construction and installation. Undertake analysis, design and engineering activities associated with subsea construction and installation.
- Design and detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry codes, standards and design guides (e.g. DNV, BS, API); client specifications and scopes of work.
- Production of design documentation including feasibility reports, detailed design reports, construction drawings, design specifications, material take-offs, weight control calculations, etc.
- Be aware of associated subsea related disciplines and understand the interfaces within a project environment.
- Provide engineering assistance and support during mobilisations and occasional periods of offshore or site working in support of installation operations.
- Provide technical engineering support to other departments within the central engineering group, the project engineering group, and to colleagues in terms of training and mentoring.
- Develop specialist knowledge of specific area of analysis and design.
- Actively participate in events such as Bid Clarifications, Kickoff Meetings, HIRAs, Design reviews, etc.
Candidates should have experience in engineering within controls in oil and gas, preferably the subsea industry.
Both contract and permanent staff candidates will be considered.
