My client, an international subsea installation contractor, has an immediate vacancy for an experienced Senior QA Advisor.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

be the focal point on a project for all quality matters, providing support to the project team and the function
establish and maintain project quality plans and inspection and test plans
schedule and conduct internal and external audits, surveillance visits and process reviews
monitor project generated procedures and the implementation of the quality management system
responsible for ensuring where appropriate, all procurement documents are adequately endorsed with quality requirements
co-ordinate procurement quality in major packages, including bidder evaluation, input to requisitions and purchase orders, bid evaluations, pre-award assessment, attend bid clarification meetings and pre-production meetings
ensure supplier and sub-contractor inspection and test plans are reviewed and approved
appoint and co-ordinate Project QC Inspectors
co-ordinate inspection activities at suppliers and sub-contractors premises
to act as a focal point for knowledge management within the project
to promote and support knowledge management within the company as required
record deficiencies, makes recommendations to correct non-compliance's and improve operating procedures
promote the use of professional quality tools, principles and objectives

Candidates should have extensive experience at an appropriate level within the Subsea Oil & Gas industry with a good understanding of ISO 9001 and other international management system standards.

This position is based in Aberdeen but will involve travel between local sites and regional / internationally as the project demands.
