Description:

My Client require the services of a Study Manager to be UK based.

The consultancy group within the company execute studies for Clients ranging from major oil companies through to smaller independent operators with limited engineering resources. Work is often at the very early stages of a project, when viability is still being assessed. We therefore work closely with our Clients’ to ensure that all important aspects, both fiscal and technical, of potential development s are captured. In almost every case the final cost estimate is critical, as this will determine the viability of the project. Innovative means are often sought to reduce or delay expenditure. Our Study Managers are often required to present the results of the work to our Client’s senior management as part of the project approval process. The duration of the studies ranges from one week to three months. Short duration work would typically only involve two or three engineers, including the cost estimator, whereas larger conceptual studies could involve a multi-discipline team of ten to twelve people.
