My client requires the services of an experienced Technology Solutions Manager to be based from their office in Abu Dhabi.
The purpose of the role is to manage the selection, implementation and maintenance of the CAFM system and helpline in support of the contract. To ensure that current and future IT systems adequately satisfy contract requirements. To direct staff and operations and to manage the building of the electronic asset register and its integration with the CAFM system.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Oversight of Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) deployment, installation and implementation
- Setting up a central helpline system
- Helpline management
- Deploying and maintaining hardware and networking systems for CAFM
- Deploying and maintaining hardware and networking systems for the helpline
- Developing, planning, implementing and managing IT security including encryption and portal access to Service Delivery Providers (SDPs)
- Coordinating with the learning and development manager to design training programs for users of the CAFM system
- Anticipating technology requirements to meet business requirements in the future and recommending solutions
- Preparing activity and progress reports regarding the database management section
- Responsible for all activities related to the administration of computerized databases
Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with a minimum of two years in an IT managerial role.
Knowledge of CAFM systems, LAN/WAN technologies and Microsoft Office applications will be an advantage.
