My Client require the services of a Camp Package Manager to be based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria - resident status.
The Camp development consists in a new onshore accommodation camp for 260 persons in Nigeria.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY :
�� Manage all aspects (technical, contractual and commercial) to achieve completion of New Obagi Camp in schedule, budget and quality (compliance with codes, standards, COMPANY specifications and Scope Of Work)
- Coordinate the Contractor’s activities (survey, Engineering, construction and commissioning etc.)
- Get involved in definition of execution plan and in preparation of call for tender documents forProcurement/Construction contracts,
- Monitor and control Contractor’s achievements in accordance with contractual requirements in areas such assafety, technical requirements, cost, planning, etc
- Ensure high involvement and good communication with partner and affiliate
- Ensure safe construction of the Camp respecting environment and local communities
- Manage activities of Engineering Coordinator and Architect
- Ensure relevant involvement of Upgrade Project team
- Establish a team which is highly motivated and works diligently to meet schedule/budget/quality
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND
- Civil and Architectural educational background
- English language (fluent)
- Minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience, preferably in buildings
- Experience in Nigerian context is recommended
- Pro-active
