My client, an international Oil & Gas contractor, has an immediate requirement for an experienced Contracts Adviser to provide advice and assistance on contractual / legal aspects up-to contract award.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage and co-ordinate the contracting activities during the bidding phase
- Supervise the application of company guidelines and standards relevant to contracting
- Manage the resources assigned to contracting, if any, and develop their professional competences
- Inform the legal manager of tender activities and project execution issues. Shall also liaise with finance / insurance department on certain issues (financial guarantees, claims, qualifications of certain risks, such as taxes, currencies, etc) and commercial department
- Participate with legal manager (and others) in training sessions to improve understanding of contracts and risks at commercial and project execution level.
Candidates should have a good law degree and previous experience dealing with offshore project contracts with knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, specifically subsea.
