Description:
My client, an international Oil & Gas contractor, has an immediate requirement for a Geotechnical Engineer.
Key activities will include but not be limited to:
- Provide a link between Project Management teams and the Offshore Engineering Department
- Liaise with Project Management teams to clarify aspects of the work and complete tasks within the agreed timeframe
- Provide support in the most convenient location for the project team
- Become involved with ongoing R&D programmes by undertaking allocated tasks and development work
Previous experience of subsea geotechnical engineering problems is preferred, particularly in the specialist fieldds of trenching and soil/pipeline interaction.
Candidates should ideally be degree qualified in Civil Engineering with additional post graduate qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering and soil mechanics a benefit.
