My Client, International Design Consultancy require the services of a Corrosion Engineer to be based in Aberdeen.
Subsea Operations
Requirements:
- Experience in Oil and Gas Corrosion Engineering.
- Experience with latest inspection and monitoring methods.
- Experienced with risk based inspection.
- Experienced with various inspection strategies.
- A sound working knowledge of current NDT applications, including limitations and effectiveness.
- A working knowledge of welding and metallurgy issues associated with inspection and assurance.
- Good knowledge of international codes and standards relevant to Corrosion Engineering.
- A good working knowledge in various corrosion software packages.
- Good PC literacy in the MS office products.
- Affable, articulate and capable of proactively communicating to both clients and contract staff.Fluent in both verbal and written English.
- Must be a self starter and use own initiative.Confident and well presented.
Key Selection Criteria:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Science.
