Title: Commercial / Contracts Manager

To meet future demand for generation and as part of their continued and significant investment programmes in Renewables a number of newly created positions have become available.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpretation and guidance of Provisions within Partnering Contracts.
- Development, administration and Compliance management of all Procurement and Contract Processes.
- Commercial management of Contracts including Terms, Conditions and Variances from ITT, Tender, Submission, Award, Completion to Final Payment.
- The development of framework agreements with key suppliers and contractors.
- Management of all risk including Liabilities and Indemnities relating to Tenders and Contracts
- Control of Contractual Activities throughout the Life Cycle of all Partnering Contracts
- Development and Management of Project Milestones
- Coordinating all aspects of Scope Of Contract
- Stakeholder management across all Engineering disciplines.
- Performance and Best Practice management
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrable negotiation skills as an established manager with experience of major high value contracts within power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, engineering, water infrastructure construction projects.
- Qualified to degree level
In depth knowledge of:
- Contract Legislation,
- Regulatory requirements,
- Change Control
- Procurement Processes.
Substantial track record in both influencing and negotiating at all levels both internally and externally.
