my client, an international oil and gas operator require the services of a pipeline supervisor.

to manage under of the responsibility of civil works & pipelines superintendent, all constructionactivities related to the pipeline with particular attention paid to hse matters:-

- to follow up and verify all documentations proposed by the contractor.- to ensure the storing and confidentiality of the documentation.- to participate to the reception of equipment- to ensure that all activities supervised are performed with the proper degree of safety andenvironment protection.- to ensure that all activities supervised are performed in respect of contract, purchase order, changeorder terms and conditions.- to follow up and verify compliance with technical specifications, drawings and procedures.- to manage construction (all) interfaces with others: contractors, operations etc ...- to provide necessary input and participate in clarifications, negotiations etc ...- to anticipate potential problems. analyse and propose corrective actions.- to make necessary arbitration between different disciplines, the only criteria being the benefit of theoverall project.- to supervise the preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities (organisation,procedures ...).- to promote the reporting of incidents and anomalies- to assist or issue in due time all reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, final report ...)- to participate in meeting related to the area of responsibility.- to contribute to audits of contractors or sub-contractors in co-operation with the qa/qcdepartment.- to liaise and support vendor / contractor representative for site survey and work visits.- to maintain good relationships with contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary

previous experience of oil and gas particularly pipeline is required.

- position based in kharyaga.- kharyaga is a remote location where artic conditions prevail.- harsh conditions for work, rotation basis (28x28).- sensitive environment (tundra, permafrost ...).- multicultural environment.
