my client, an international oil and gas operator require the services of an offshore pipeline supervisor.
to supervise the construction activites in angola (soyo), ensuring they are carried out in a good workmanship,in accordance with the company procedures, strict compliance of hse regulations and qa/qc policy.
- to comply with requirements of safety on site in conformity with project procedures in order to ensureconstruction is safe and liaise with hse mgr and construction mgr..- to liaise with qa/qc mgr to direct quality assurance.- to supervise contractor construction activities on site, monitor the schedule & quantities.- to check that construction activities are performed in strict compliance with project and company specifications.- to implement and control work permit procedures and ensure their application.- to identify on time, mitigate deficiencies and develop solutions to facilitate construction problems in liaise withconstruction superintendent.- to report adequately the project, anticipate problems and suggest remedial actions if necessary.- to support field engineering activities during project construction stage with assistance of epscc contractor.- to do technical review of change orders and site queries issued during construction- to participate / support in preparation of facilities as built drawings.- to support hook-up and commissioning activities.
previous experience of oil and gas particularly pipeline is required.
- working on construction site with contractor teams in angola (soyo).- local labor difficulties- platform to be installed in angola in cooperation with ambriz yard
location: angola, soyo
salary: rate will be negotiable.
