My client, an International Oil & Gas contractor, has an immediate requirement for a Commercial Manager.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Direct negotiation of contract, commercial and cost aspects of projects
Implementation of processes to support the frame contract, cost modelling etc
Liaison with Tendering and Contracts Managers
General supervision of Contracts Engineers and Cost Engineers
Ensure consistency for rechargable items across projects
Placement of orders for "Long Lead Procurement" items which are necessary ahead of handover to project team in order to maintain project schedule
Preparation and / or supervision of the preparation of budgets and target cost estimates for future developments
Raising monthly invoices for Project Management Fee, maintaining cost reports for the Project Management Team

Ideally, candidates should be educated to degree level and have proven experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas industry.

This position is based in their Aberdeen office.
