main duties & responsibilities:duties will include, but are not limited to:-acknowledgement and management of all applications/cv'sadvise and assist managers/departments with recruitment e.g. compilation of jobs specs, advertising options, costs, timescales, salaries etcmanagement and administration of recruitment databaseongoing management and liaison with recruitment agenciesensuring compliance with company policy/process and current legislation on recruitmentbe present and lead all interviews in a professional manner where applicable reviewing options and implementation of ongoing improvements to enhance current policies and process within the recruitment functionmaintain internal electronic job boards and external website with current vacanciesprovide admin and recruitment support to other team membersdevelops self and encourages development of otherspresentationpersonal presentation: presents self in a professional manner with colleagues and clients communication presentation: articulates views in comprehensive manner work presentation: produces written work of presentable quality
skillsinterpersonal: excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor these skills to the situation or level of personnel. technical: computer literate and able to effectively use microsoft packages i.e. word, excel, powerpoint and outlook, exposure to sap would be advantageous experience of computerised recruitment packages self management: good organisational skills and smart working methods with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
qualifications and educationgeneral education: good level of general education specified qualifications for position: certificate in personnel practice, mrec or similar continuing professional development: has up to date knowledge and awareness of current employment and recruitment legislation
experiencegeneral experience: demonstrable background in technical recruitment with experience of both uk and international projects covering both contract & staff roles with demonstrable job related experience and competencies to support this. technical experience: worked in or for a recruitment agency (rec accredited) or as part of an in-house resourcing team. self managerial experience: experience in organising your own working practices and day to day workload in a stand alone role.
