My Client, an International Oil and Gas Operator require the services of a Pipeline Project Manager to be based in Atyrau / Kazakhstan.

MISSIONSTo manage the Project with the aim of remaining within the agreed Budget, Schedule for completion, Statement ofRequirements and HSE governing rules of the Company.

ACTIVITES

To develop and implement a project organisation using Company as well as contracted personnel to ensure smoothproject development and technical coordination
To define the authority and responsibility of each member of the project management team.Measure : Effectiveness of own project team and of technical coordination.
To establish and manage a team which is highly motivated and works diligently to meet Statement of Requirements.Measure : Effectiveness of team and good team spirit
To ensure safe working practices are carried out within the project team and the various contractorsMeasure : As few as possible manhours/days lost due to accidents for duration of project.
To keep Divisional Manager (and Partners as required) informed regarding ongoing project status.Measure : Divisional Manager's (and Partners') satisfaction at the way they are informed of the progress project ismaking.
To obtain the internal (validation committee, CDEP, COMEX) and external (Partners, Host Country) approvals
To prepare Contract/Purchase Order Plan in accordance with Project Plan, and negotiate Contracts/PurchaseOrders in accordance with Contract/Purchase Order Plan.Measure : Timely award of Contracts and purchase Orders within budget.
To define the contractual policy.
To monitor and control Contractors' achievements in accordance with contractual requirements in areas such assafety, technical requirements, cost control, planning , etc…Measure : To ensure work is carried out to contractual and Company standards.
To maintain constructive relationship with Partners and Contractors.
In case of an integrated project, to coordinate and manage the subsurface and surface activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Engineering, Construction, Production, Platform installation, Hook up, Safety, Call for tender and Contract négotiation, Cost control, Planning, Contractors management, Project team management, Partners/Host country relationship, Subsurface knowledge

12 month renewable contract
