Position: Project Manager
Location: South West, UK
Day Rate: circa £500 per day
THE PROJECT:
This project is a novel subsea system which will provide the infrastructure necessary to support up to four arrays of wave energy converter devices (wec's) which generate electricity from wave energy.
This project comprises a subsea power connection system located some 10 nautical miles off the coast in approximately 50 metres of water connected via a subsea power cable to shore. An onshore substation will be situated adjacent to existing substation facilities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Relevant offshore and onshore project experience providing evidence of leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Previous Experience in managing subsea projects demonstrating:
- Proven experience in all aspects of project management including technical, commercial, HSE, QA/QC, risk, cost and scheduling of the design, construction, installation and commissioning of complex subsea systems and tie-backs to shore.
- Experience in design, specification and installation of subsea control/power systems.
- Ability to work with a number of contracting organisations in various worldwide locations.
