My Client, a Subsea contractor are undertaking project management together with on and offshore engineering of a Wave project, a novel subsea system which will provide the infrastructure necessary to support up to four arrays of wave energy converter devices (wec's) which generate electricity from wave energy.The project comprises a subsea power connection system located some 10 nautical miles off the north Cornish coast in approximately 50 metres of water connected via a subsea power cable to shore.
They require the services of a construction manager with:
- Relevant experience with the procurement, construction and installation of subsea projects.
- Familiar with design and specification of all subsea and mooring systems
- Familiarity with design and specification of onshore support systems
- Specific experience of:
Procurement procedures and contractso Offshore construction activities using a variety of vesselso Near shore and shore approach construction activities o Projects covering conceptual through to commissioning
