My Client, International Oil and Gas Operator require the services of a Construction superintendent to be on 4x4 rotation based in Obagi - Nigeria.

Reporting directly to the Upgrade Construction Manager, main responsibilities include:

Supervise and coordinate early site Construction activities such as site preparation, surveys, siteestablishment etc…
Management of the Site Construction Supervision Team, and control of onshore EPSCC Contractor activities.
Report to Project Upgrade Construction Manager.
Co-ordination within Project Supervision Team.
Assistance to the Construction Manager
Assist the Project Management Team to ensure compliance with EPNL and Project safetyobjectives throughout life of the Project.
To manage the Site Construction Supervision Team, in order to achieve a proper control of allCONTRACTOR’s activities and work for all areas and disciplines
To assess the seriousness and urgency of possible problems encountered by or with CONTRACTOR, and,when necessary, to obtain an acceptable remedial actions plan from CONTRACTOR
To assess the relevancy of the construction related VORs issued by CONTRACTOR, and prepare supportingdata for the purpose of the internal VOR Review Meeting, under the responsibility of the ConstructionManager
To prepare and participate to the Weekly, Monthly and, when concerned, ad-hoc meetings withCONTRACTOR
To maintain good relationships with CONTRACTORS
Keep informed the Construction Manager of all events which may affect the successful completion of theProject goals

Previous experience of Oil and Gas Construction is required.

English both written and spoken
