My Client, an International Oil and Gas Operator require a Field Operations Engineer for Materials Expediting and Transit. The contract will be for 12 months based in Paris and Work requires occasional missions to Korea, Nigeria, or possibly to European supplier's bases.

Within the framework of an integrated project team in the Field Operations team, the main objective is to expedite and control the delivery, including technical inspection, of spare parts and various equipment and consumables procured for project operations. The main role is the supervisions of all steps including ex-works delivery, transportation to hub, technical inspection, re-transportation, custom clearance and final delivery to warehouse, of Purchased items from Vendors up to Korean or Nigerian points of delivery, including technical inspection in dedicated hubs in Europe or Korea. This requires close liaison with Operations Lead Buyer, end users from Field Operations department, including contractors, and logistic staff in charge of transit, custom control and warehouse.

Main Responsibilities

Follow-up, monitor, control and expedite all operational procured items including spare parts, equipment, tools and consumables required for operations. This position shall also require supervising the technical inspection of the procured items in the hub to be set-up for control and dispatch to final delivery location
Material expediting and transit control
Materials technical inspection
Liaison required with Materials suppliers
Monitoring and coordinating the receipt and control of spare parts delivery and their Storage
Ensure proper inspection, receipt, packaging, delivery and storage of goods to Korean or Nigerian stores as the case may be

Requirements:

- Degree educated in technical engineering

- Experience in expediting or material procurement in oil industry

- Excellent knowledge of computers and standard softwares

- Familiar with SAP tool (PM and MM)
