Description:
My client is a major subsea installation contractor and due to continuous growth, they have an urgent requirement for an Electrical & Instrumentation Systems Superintendent.Key activities will include but not be limited to:
- Developing procedures to control the effective utilisation of electrical & instrument systems
- Liaising with vessels to: Install and maintain electrical and instrument systems, Provide technical support for all users, Coordinate hardware and software upgrades, Train offshore personnel in the use of equipment and software as required and Ensure compatability of systems.
- Liaise with stores and third party suppliers to ensure: Timely forwarding of critical upgrades, spares and equipment and that software and equipment faults are reported and suitable corrective action is taken.
- Comply with the Fleet Management System (FMS)
- Comply with the OAD Management System
- Responsibility and extensive control of all budgets for E&I upgrades or maintenance.
- Any other duties as required by Fleet Technical Manager.
Candidates should be dynamic and self motivated with good communication skills and ideally be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
