My client urgently requires the services of a Principal Surveyor to work in their Aberdeen office.

The main purpose of the role is:

  • To actively participate in the development of all aspects of the company survey department to enable provision of qualitative survey service.
  • To manage the Survey Department within the context and needs of the company's day to day global operations, with particular responsibility for Survey Operations.
  • To contribute to overall development and performance, as a senior management and team member to achieve the company goals, maintain quality and uphold Company values.
  • To foster an inclusive team spirit in all aspects of work as a core objective of the department.

Key work areas include but are not limited to:

  • To assist with ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements within the survey department are met including active participation in HSE/QA meetings.
  • To develop the systems and documentation associated with all aspects of the survey Department from an operational and qualitative aspect.
  • To manage direct and indirect staff placed under your responsibility, in line with the companies detailed organisational guidelines and budget constraints.

Candidates should have a strong technical background ideally with a survey qualification and significant offshore operational experience likely to be supported with onshore project or management experience.
