My international Oil and Gas client based in Surrey requires an experienced Subsea Umbilical Engineer.To cover the design engineering activities for the conceptual and FEED.·
- Solid experience of subsea umbilical design, manufacture and installation. Degree in relevant engineering discipline .
- Be conversant with the necessary codes and standards for subsea umbilicals.
- The candidate will be experienced with requirements of subsea umbilical for tie-back from unmanned platform to a host platform or facility.
The potential control systems evaluated comprise full electro-hydraulic and direct hydraulic utilizing composite umbilical and short length jumper sections. The candidate shall be conversant with a number of umbilical options including Single Integrated Service Umbilical (ISU), Separate Electrical & Hydraulic Supply Umbilical, Dual Redundant (ISUs) and Single ISU with Separate Methanol Pipeline. Also candidate must be familiar with the control aspects of the platform systems e.g. a dedicated system based on a host facility.
LOCATION: South UK
SALARY: Rate will be negotiable.
