plan, detail and review technical documentation relating to subsea piping and mechanical systems' construction and installationundertake, and check others', analysis, design and engineering activities associated with mechanical and piping equipment and system layoutsproduce design documentation including feasibility reports, detailed design reports, construction drawings, equipment specifications, etcproduce equipment specifications and undertake package managementprovide mechanical and integrity calculations for piping and equipment design and detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry codes, standards and design guides, client specifications and scopes of workproduction and checking of design documentation including feasibility reports, detailed design reports, construction drawings, design specifications, material take-offs, weight control calculations, etcliaise with associated subsea related disciplines and understand the interfaces within a project provide engineering assistance during mobilisations and occasional periods of offshore or site workingprovide technical engineering support to other departments within the central engineering group, the project engineering group, and to colleagues in terms of training and mentoringdemonstrate sound knowledge of relevant fe analysis and design software participate as required in events such as bid clarifications, kickoff meetings, hiras, design reviews, etcpresentationpersonal presentation: presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role communication presentation: articulates views in comprehensive manner work presentation: produces work of presentable quality

qualifications and educationspecified qualifications for position: degree educated in relevant discipline but consideration will be given to those with extensive proven experience within a similar role continuing professional development: can use learning and training experiences in working situations.
