My international multi-discipline engineering client based in Canada requires an experienced Land Development Engineer for this position based in Edmonton, Canada.

Roles / Responsibilities include:

Be responsible for preparing subdivision and municipal civil engineering designs to local City of Calgary standards.
Work closely with internal office groups including legal survey, storm water management, urban design, and related construction services.
Providing assistance in the preparation of tender contract documents, field survey packages and engineering reports.
Ensure due diligence, work is reviewed to confirm approach and attainment of assigned objectives are met.

Skills / Experience required:

Are experienced in the management of municipal and land development engineering projects.
Ideally, are completely familiar with current City of Calgary development guidelines, technical specifications and land use by-laws.
Have a strong technical background in the civil/municipal/infrastructure/transportation/storm water management sector.
Have solid technical capabilities in AutoCAD and/or Land Development Desktop software, an asset.
May provide leadership and direction to junior staff with respect to performance management, training opportunities and ensure branch goals are achieved with a strong emphasis on the business unit goals of growth and profit.
Have exceptional oral and written communication expertise which is complimented with a keen eye for detail.
