My Client, an International Oil and Gas Operator require a Structural(Offshore&Onshore)/Civil/Buildings Specialist to be based in Yemen.This is a 12 month contract and main duties include:
• Perform the Structural / Civil activities, as part of the Site Management Team to follow-up / monitor the Construction Activities of the Structural / Civil / Buildings Disciplines of the EPC Contractor. • Ensure that the Structural / Civil aspects of the construction activities meet the Construction dossier including but not limited to drawings, specifications, method statements, procedures, Vendor documents, construction schedule. Also provide support to Subcontractor design and fabrication sites as required. • Particular responsibility for activities related to offshore jetty construction.• Follow up and monitor the construction activities of the EPC Contractor on all Structural / Civil / Buildings Construction related activities.• Follow up / monitor detailed Structural / Civil Construction activities including formulation and interpretation of engineering and material / construction specifications to ensure alignment of project goals and strategy.
- Experience in Construction for major projects, in the Structural / Civil / Buildings Discipline.- Experience in construction of structures offshore.- Experience in supervising construction contractor activities.- Experience in the Energy Industry (including relevant operation issues).- Experience in technical support to operating plants (Energy).
