My international Oil and Gas Operator client requires an experienced Planning Engineer for this position based in Paris with frequent business visits to Nigeria.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Prepare the regular Operations status reports for the Management and Partners (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Prepare specific reports requested by FO Management on various matters (Nigerian Content, Environmental discharges, etc)
- Collate the schedules from the different Field Operations departments (including plannings related to the personnel rotations, liftings, planned shut-downs, IMR vessel utilization, start-up activities)
- Update the regular Field Operations Management schedules (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly) on the basis of the FO department schedules and in conjunction with the other (Nigerian subsidiary) departments such as Drilling, Engineering Works, Logistics…
- Organise and participate in the regular schedule review meetings to review planning and progress related issues
Experience / Knowledge Requirements:
- Degree or similar level in an appropriate discipline
- Professional experience: Experience of oil and gas (ideally within the field production operations).
- Excellent communication skills and excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of planning scheduling software (Primavera and Microsoft Project) and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)
