My international Oil and Gas Operator client requires the services of an experienced Commissioning Engineer for this long-term contract position. This position is initially based in Paris and then will revert to Offshore Nigeria on a 4 x 4 Rotation.
Roles / Responsibilities:
All of the below related to UFR (umbilicals, flowlines and risers)
- Define the pre-commissioning strategy in liaison with the Operations Manager and the Commissioning Manager.
- Define the pre-commissioning needs and plans in liaison with the Construction Manager and the Installation Manager.
- Lead EPC Contractor and main sub-vendors in charge of scope of work and act as the focus point of contact with CONTRACTOR in the UFR Company organization for all pre-commissioning activities.
- Manage the preparation and review of all procedures relevant to pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Experience Required:
- Chartered Engineer or similar education level.
- Experience in the oil industry with commissioning experience.
- Competence should include: Safety, Process engineering, Construction projects and/or hook-up, Pipelines construction and/or engineering, Planning, Contractors management.
