My Client, an International Oil and gas Operator require a QS Contract Engineer in Abu Dhabi.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :-QS controls that COMPANY and CONTRACTOR complies with their Contract Obligations. -More specifically before approval by Project Manager QS review the Project QA System and Contract administration procedure manual issued by CONTRACTOR.
MAIN ACTIVITIES : In relation with the above :- QS control the Project Progress versus Project Schedule Plan.-QS record and control the progress of all Project documents and versus TDR (Technical Document Register).-QS record and control the progress of all Suppliers documents versus SDR (Supplier Documentation Register).-QS record and control all Procurement Requisition and Purchase Order versus PO Register (Purchase Order Register).-QS check CONTRACTOR's invoices and controls Project Costs.- QS records and files of all correspondence issued by Project Team to CONTRACTOR.-QS writes all Contractual correspondence for Project Manager¡¦s signature.
Before submission to Project manager for approval, QS check all request issued by COMPANY Project Team and/or by CONTRACTOR for Design Change.In case of Claim issued by CONTRACTOR QS assist Project Manager for the preparation of the dossier.
OTHER ACTIVITIES :- QS assist Project Manager during Weekly and Monthly Project Progress Meeting and control MOM.- QS review the Project Completion Dossier issued by CONTRACTOR.
