My Client, an International Operator, are looking for a Health and Safety Senior Engineer on a residence basis in Moscow for a 12 month renewable contract.Reporting to the Project Director, the main scope of work:
• Assist the Project Director in ensuring that the Project H&S policies and procedures are kept updated and properly implemented on the Project. • Work in close coordination with the Environment Senior Engineer to develop a coherent Project HSE Management System• Act as the focal and single point for contact for all H&S related matters and communication between all parties involved and all over the project
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES OF THE SERVICE
• Advise the Project Manager on solutions to safety and health issues• Ensure that all health and safety matters are compliant with the Russian laws, norms and codes• In close coordination with the Environment Senior Engineer, prepare the Project HSE plan • Contribute to the definition of HSE philosophy and criteria to be used for the design of installations• Maintain and update the safety derogation register• Prepare the H&S contractors technical and contractual requirements - Analyse contractors proposal in terms of H&S and construction methods• In coordination with the Corporate QHSE Manager prepare the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) • Conduct internal and external H&S audits as required and participate in any third party audit called on the Project
Graduated Engineer with experience in H&S and construction activities related to large oil and gas project (offshore skill appreciated)
Previous experience as H&S Senior Engineer or HSE Manager
** Russian regulation knowledge appreciated **
