My client, an International Subsea Installation contractor are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work in Aberdeen.Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Mechanical Discipline Engineer working for the Remote Technology Group (RTG). RTG provides the remote/diverless engineering capability in support of internal projects and operations.
-The Mechanical Engineer will assist with the technical responsibilities in the execution of projects undertaken by RTG and will be mentored by Senior -mechanical discipline engineers in technical matters
-An understanding of the schedule & budget impact of technical decisions will be expected
-On smaller projects he/she may have sole responsibility to deliver the project scope, on larger projects he/she will contribute to a multi-discipline project team
-These projects vary from engineering, procurement, manufacture and test projects, to engineering projects in support of ROV and/or construction engineering activities
HNC or degree in Mech Eng and subsea experience are required.
