My international Oil and Gas Operator client based in Paris, France requires the services of an experienced Structural and marine Engineer for this world-scale project.

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

Post-graduate, chartered Engineer or similar education level in Mechanical, Structure, Naval or Ocean Engineering.
Oil & Gas engineering with marine components expertise and offshore installation experience.
Deepwater experience is preferable.

For this position you will be responsible for the following:

Follow up all the design aspects of the FPSO & OLT (Offloading Terminal) mooring systems (which includes hydrodynamics, mechanical component design, piles and mooring legs design) and of the Risers.
Integration of the Moorings and Risers systems.
Supervise the main EPCI Contractor plans and activities.
Technical specifications of the Moorings and Risers system components.
Moorings and Risers installation procedures.
Fabrication activities linked to the Moorings and Risers systems.
Prepare and supervise all mock-up tests.
Liaise with the FPSO & OLT Moorings and Risers Co-ordinators.
Review for eventual approval, all the final documentation.
Control on yards activities.
