My Client, an International Subsea Contractor are looking for a Project Manager for their Aberdeen Offices.Most of the focus will be on projects which are worth in excess of $100m, elements of the work will be novel - it may be in deeper waters, use new technologies or it may involve deployment in a new or challenging location.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
-Responsible for developing project execution strategy and execution plan in conjunction with COE/VST/Regions -Overall responsibility for production of robust technical solution for proposal in conjunction with COE/VST/Regions -Responsibility for ensuring technical and cost input to proposal is coordinated with Proposal Manager -Participate negotiations with client and incorporating all changes into final proposal/handover to execution -Review and approval of all eng/operational input to proposal -Responsible for final technical qualification list and input into commercial qualification list -Arrange hazops and hazids as required and input into tender risk register -Ownership of tender risk register -Produce project organisation chart and compile final cost for engineering and project management (manhour estimate, etc) -Make final recommendations for 3rdparty costs in conjunction with Commercial Leads
Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level is required
Specified Qualifications for position: University Graduate in the defined discipline, or other relevant engineering discipline
Must also be familiar with industry recognised engineering software
