My Client, an International Subsea Contractor are looking for a Project Engineer for Proposals.Most of the focus will be on projects which are worth in excess of $100m, elements of the work will be novel - it may be in deeper waters, use new technologies or it may involve deployment in a new or challenging location.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
-Reports to Eng/Ops Leads -Produce method statements for proposal -Support Lead engineers in engineering, procurement and operational functions -Produce deck plans to support schedule and vessel operations -Liaise with VST/equipment groups to verify schedule/vessel operations and deck plans are representative-Produce & review offshore schedules -Review proposal documentation and produce commercial and technical qualification list -Produce scope and schedule input for 3rd.party enquiries issued by Gateway commercial group -Participate in course hazids and risk assessments -Review knowledge management data base for lessons learned from previous projects -Liaise with other functions e.g. vessel and equipment, survey, RIT, operational requirements -Review crewing, equipment and 3rd party cost on vessels are accurate and appropriate to scope. -Ensure all proposed vessels and equipment are operating within their capabilities. -Identify and quantify additional installation aids, rigging, sea fastenings fabrications
Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level is required
Specified Qualifications for position: University Graduate in the defined discipline, or other relevant engineering discipline
